The Parents Fund is an extension of the Concordia Fund, supporting academic excellence at Concordia University Irvine. Supporting the Concordia Fund allows the university to invest your funds in those areas that are a priority in the current fiscal year. You may, however, designate your gift elsewhere by noting it in the Donor Comments field.
The objective of the Music Patrons is to support the university in its effort to provide high quality training for musicians and music educators of the future. The Patrons contributions include: sponsorship of scholarships, purchasing instruments and equipment, defraying student expenses for conferences and competitions and funding other needs. Theatre Patrons provide gifts to the university's theatre department. The performing arts have been an integral part of the Concordia experience since the school's earliest days and the theatre programs have grown to require three fully-equipped performance spaces: the CU Center, the Studio Theatre and the Nelson Outdoor Amphitheatre. Concordia Mission and Service Trips provide the opportunity for students to show God’s loving mercy to people around the world. These trips typically take place in the summer and vary in both location and purpose. CUI students have served on every continent (except Antarctica!) and have helped to bring relief to those in need. Asst Housing Dir, Larry Rice, and Ben Bolognini '13, will lead a team to Jinja, Uganda that will cost around $2,500. The team will serve for a little over 2 weeks, from 5/19-6/5. They will be working primarily with the non-profit organization Mirembe Cottage Uganda which provides vocational training for street girls through education. This opportunity will provide a great positive impact on both the local community as well as the University's students who are eager to embark on this journey. The Teen Entrepreneur Academy (TEA) is a unique 1-week summer camp program at Concordia University for at-risk and other high school students who aspire to start their own businesses. The curriculum includes hands-on practical experiences in developing a new business venture using the best business practices and timeless wisdom from scripture. Camp will be held July 14-19, 2013. Camp costs $495 and scholarship funding is needed for low-income students. Please bless a teenager this summer.

Paige Armstrong-Maltos was a freshman at Concordia University Irvine and a member of the Women's Basketball Team who died in a car accident on Sunday, January 9, 2011.
